49 D&AD Annuals. They're taller than me. I've been working on the D&AD call for entries on my placement at Work Club and it has been so interesting and helpful reading through all the annuals and working out the journey. Experience the journey through time, design, space and advertising for yourself here (woohoo!).

This is the post-it mountain. Are post-its recyclable? Hope so...

While reading through all 49 annuals, as you might expect, I came across some rather lovely work. One of my favourite pieces was this photography by Sarah Moon for the 1972 Pirelli Calendar. 

It's so beautiful, light and feminine and such a stark contrast to the raunchier photography chosen for the Pirelli calendar of the following year. Luckily, spray tans have improved since the 70s.
